I’m Nat Pike. I run Studio Hacks from Adelaide, South Australia โ the YouTube channel, this site, and the social accounts that grew out of it. I started as a music producer making production tutorials. The channel is now a mix of digital marketing, making a living on YouTube, SEO, and the AI tools I actually sit down and use.
Studio Hacks is still one person. I test software at my own desk, write the review when I have a real opinion, and keep the affiliate links honest. If a tool is a poor fit, I say so. If I earn a commission when you sign up, that is on the affiliate disclosure and on the review itself.
How this started
The YouTube channel began as a small audio-engineering project. Music tutorials alone were not enough to support a family, and digital marketing turned out to be a better fit for the kind of teaching I wanted to do: show the workflow, then show the tool. Over time that became an affiliate-marketing resource โ content automation, AI image and video studios, detectors, VPNs, and the rest of the stack a solo creator actually touches.
The homepage numbers are the ones I stand behind: about 35,000 subscribers on the Studio Hacks YouTube channel, about 50,000 on the Studio Hacks TikTok, and about 25k on Instagram. I also keep pages on Facebook, Udemy, and LinkedIn. I am a regular live performer in Adelaide, and I play keyboard and vocals in the band Love, Soul, Deep. That music work is why I still care about tools that get a track from a blank session to a finished Reel without a twelve-tab circus.
What I publish here
Most of the long-form writing on studiohacks.net is a first-person review or a how-to. I cover AI image and video desks (OpenArt, Midjourney comparisons), AI music (Suno), short-form clippers, AI detectors and humanisers, and the hosting or VPN tools I point people at when they ask. I do not invent PageSpeed scores. I do not paste a fake testimonial. I would rather publish a shorter piece I can defend than a 4,000-word mush of the same detector article under five slugs.
I also sell a YouTube PDF blueprint, a YouTube course, and one-to-one coaching. Those live on the homepage. They are optional. You can read the free reviews and leave.
How I work
I am a solopreneur: I write the copy, record the videos, and keep the site up. I use the same class of tools I review โ AI writers when they save time, detectors when I need a second opinion, and clippers when a long video has to become Shorts. That is the point of the channel. I am not a lab, and I do not hold a pile of industry awards I can wave at you. I am the person on the other end of sonicartsnow@gmail.com if something on the site is wrong or a hop is broken.
